Teaching Notes

My book, The Adventures of William Brambleberry: Aviator Mouse, was created to inspire children to dream big and work towards their goals while educating them about Australia’s military history. It features members of 453SQN, an Australian Spitfire squadron that fought in Great Britain and France against German invasion during WWII. To deepen this knowledge of our military history and broaden the book’s usefulness for teaching, I have created Teaching Notes and gift them with love to everyone.

These Teaching Notes provide resources and tools that enable teachers to use the book for teaching across a broad range of learning areas from Foundation to Year 6, including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Technologies and the Arts. The projects and activities are designed to enhance capabilities for literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, critical and creative thinking, personal and social capability, and ethical understanding.

I hope you find them useful.
